The Creation of the Symbolon Concept
The Symbolon concept was developed from the desire to summarize years of consulting experience with people from economy with a new and unique concept which takes a completely different approach than other concepts. It is not supposed to replace other concepts, but rather should lead further and make deeper aspects visible. Every day, Christine Kranz could see that when management has more understanding for deeper connections, outer levels and team processes change by themselves.
It is Symbolon's goal to affect the inner level of personality and company with reflective processes, and to sensitize the employees to background connections. The employees can then be brought to the inner-dynamic emotional level from the head and through intellectual access. The constant orientation to the outside and hyper-activity is stopped for a moment and new perspectives are reflected on.
The intense studies at the C.G. Jung Institute in Zürich were pathbreaking in showing that pictures and symbols are in the centre of the entire concept. It began a two year development, in which work was practically only done in the background. Archetypes and symbols were translated onto economy. For the individual consulting area the "Symbolon Personality Profile®" and for team development the "Symbolon-Trainings"to different topics were developed. From the beginning the development team consisted of Christine Kranz and Eveline Taylor. Over time, a graphic artist, computer scientists and photographers were added. The entire program was directly translated into English.
